RETURNS & REFUNDS

We offer returns on items within 30 days of purchase, with some exceptions*.

*Exceptions to both returns and exchanges:

  • The product was not purchased directly from flytanium.com.
  • Limited Edition items should be returned within seven days of the delivery date. Exchanges cannot be guaranteed for Limited Edition items.
  • For a full refund, the product must be returned is in its original state and packaging with all parts accounted for. Damaged items or parts that have been installed may only be eligible for a partial refund.
  • Defective products covered by our Flytanium Manufacturer Warranty are eligible for free shipping labels.
  • The item is counterfeit, and not a genuine Flytanium product. See our counterfeit policy for more information.
  • All shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Your return must be shipped back to us within 30 days rom when we send you a Return Authorization number. After 30 days, we cannot accept the return. The Return Authorization number will be void and we will remove any exchanges on hold.

If you received an item different from what you ordered, please reach out to us and we'll start a return process for the incorrect item and ship out what you ordered as soon as possible.

Customers seeking a domestic return (within the United States) will receive a return label to ship the item back. The return label cost is deducted from the total refund amount. Refunds are issued once we receive and inspect your package, and usually take 3-5 business days to arrive back into your bank account.

For international customers requesting a return, we do not issue return labels. Customers are responsible for shipping costs. Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process your item, you receive a full refund 3-5 business days after we process your package.

We are unable to accept returns on Flytanium products obtained from a retailer other than www.flytanium.com. Please return the product to the original retailer. If you have an issue covered by our warranty, we’ve got you covered: see our Flytanium Warranty Policy outlined below.

Exchanges

We offer free exchanges within 30 days of your purchase, with some exceptions*. If your product is out of stock, we will happily issue store credit for the value of your product. Please visit our Returns & Exchanges Center to exchange an item.

For domestic exchanges (within the United States) we will provide a free return label to ship the item back to us. For international exchanges, we ask the customer to cover the return shipping cost.

Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process your item. Once processed, we will quickly ship out your replacement.

Refunds typically take 3-5 business days to be processed through your financial institution but may take more time depending on when your billing period ends.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you want to change any items in your order. You have 12 hours from the time your orders is placed to inform us about any changes to your Modifly order. Production may start as soon as 12 hours after the order is placed.

Products labeled 'Garage Sale' are items with cosmetic defects, like scratches or color issues. They still work, but are heavily discounted for not passing our visual quality checks. Discontinued products are items that passed our quality checks, but won't be produced again. These items are all final sale, sold as-is, without warranty coverage, and cannot be exchanged.

Warranty

We guarantee all Flytanium goods to be free of manufacturing defects both in material and workmanship. If your product is defective, we will repair it, replace it or substitute it for a different product of equal value.

Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear that happens on a knife. Damage caused by abuse, neglect, incorrect installation, failure to perform maintenance, or prying is not covered. If you are unsure how to install your product or think you might damage it in the process, reach out to us, we’ll be happy to help guide you through the installation.

Our warranty lasts 30 days. If a warranty request is not made within your 30 day window, we can't guarantee a return, exchange or substitution.

We review warranty claims for purchases made with dealers on a case-by-case basis and will reject a warrantee claim for the same reasons listed above.

Our warranty specialists do amazing work and they'll try to fix any of our products regardless of purchase date.

Shipping

  • We ship orders via USPS and UPS. Our Shipping Department is closed on Saturday & Sunday and on all federal holidays, so any orders placed over the weekend or on a federal holiday will ship within the next 2 business days. Limited circumstances may also delay dispatch time (i.e. combined orders, order verification, high volume, etc).
  • If, for any reason, you have changes which need to be made to your order, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We’d love to make edits before your order is shipped.
  • If you have specific shipping needs, please email us prior to placing your order. We can generally accommodate most needs (i.e. overnight shipping).
  • Most orders are shipped without a signature required. If you prefer for your order to require a signature, please let us know in your ‘Order Notes’ box during checkout.
  • If an item is marked delivered according to tracking number, but you haven’t received your order, then we will reship your order to you with a signature requirement to ensure delivery.
  • Orders typically ship within 1 business day. If you’ve made a special request, such as to have additional pocket clip holes added, there may be an additional 2-3 business day delay to perform the service. Also, if you’ve left us a note on your order, there may be a small delay as all notes are reviewed by team members before the order can move to processing.

Tracking numbers are sent within your shipping confirmation email. If you don’t end up seeing that email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders. If you still haven’t found that email anywhere after checking your spam, reach out to us and we’ll get back to you with your tracking number as soon as we can.

  • We ship many items to select international destinations. Some items cannot be shipped to all destinations. Any and all customs, duty, or import fees are entirely the responsibility of the customer. We will not falsify customs documentation for any reason, so please don't ask us. You, as the customer, are responsible for knowing the legality of import. In some cases, regardless of legality, there may be items we do not ship to an international destination due to past package seizures by the destination's customs office. Please email us for questions regarding shipping restrictions.
  • Occasionally there may be times when there are no shipping options available for particular destinations due to transportation issues or global health crisis issues. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are not responsible for lost, seized, or stolen international shipments and will not refund any part of your order if it is seized by a
    customs agent. Order at your own risk.

  • We understand how frustrating it can be to have your package delayed or potentially lost. Before we can start a trace on your order or reship your order, 2 weeks must pass without any tracking updates.
  • Please reach out to us if you haven't received your order within 2 weeks of receiving your shipping confirmation email.

Products

Our manufacturing costs are constantly changing due to raw material prices, tooling costs, tariffs, and other factors. Our most recent price adjustment on January 1st, 2026 better standardizes our prices across the Flytanium product line with a majority of items getting a minor increase for the first time since 2023. A quarter of our products including most of our folding knives have the same or a lower price compared with 2025.

Each knife is different and requires some basic tools and knowledge. There are some great community resources out there for the disassembly and reassembly of popular models. Here are some of our favorites:

If you’d rather, we’d be happy to install them for you. Please fill out our installation form here. Installs start at $25. Please note that we do not offer installation services for any non-Flytanium parts.

We offer left hand pocket clip hole drilling for many of our scales. Products that can be drilled for left hand carry will specify in the product listing or are in our left hand friendly collection. Simply select the option to add left-hand carry holes before you add your item to cart. Your items will arrive with left-hand carry holes alongside our factory standard right-hand carry holes. Please note there may be an additional 2-3 business day delay to perform this service.

Our selection of models is a combination of knives we love and knives the community has asked for. If you’ve got a brilliant idea for us, drop us a line.

Each finish is made by hand by our modifications team. This, combined with the nature of the chemicals we work with, leads to a unique finish each time.

Discounts vary from sale to sale, but as a general rule of thumb they exclude:
