2024 Fathers Day Gift Guide

It’s nearly Father’s Day – which means I’m about to get a text from my siblings asking if they can pile onto whatever gift I’m getting our dad. It’s tricky to know what to get for the father figure in your life, so let’s dive into gift ideas together.

$25 and under

Knife accessories are a simple but thoughtful way to show your appreciation for your dad. If you don’t know what kind of knife or tool he has – get him a Knife Care Kit. It has knife lube, thread lockers, a cleaning tool, polishing cloth, and breakdown mat that doubles as a carrying case. My dad carries his Leatherman multi-tool everywhere – and I know it’s due for some much-needed maintenance. The kit will run you $25.

$100 range

If you know what kind of knife your dad has – say a Bugout or Paramilitary 2 – you can get him a nice new set of scales. Check out our blogs on handle materials and see which option resonates best. Go back to the classics with brass or copper to give him a timeless old-fashioned feel. Perhaps a lightweight Micarta that will beautifully patina over time. Titanium handles can transform any knife into an object meant to last a lifetime. Choose between flat and contoured styles to add extra dimension to the knife. $150 range
