    2024 Fathers Day Gift Guide

It’s nearly Father’s Day – which means I’m about to get a text from my siblings asking if they can pile onto whatever gift I’m getting our dad. It’s tricky to know what to get for the father figure in your life, so let’s dive into gift ideas together.

    $25 and under

Knife accessories are a simple but thoughtful way to show your appreciation for your dad. If you don’t know what kind of knife or tool he has – get him a Knife Care Kit. It has knife lube, thread lockers, a cleaning tool, polishing cloth, and breakdown mat that doubles as a carrying case. My dad carries his Leatherman multi-tool everywhere – and I know it’s due for some much-needed maintenance. The kit will run you $25.

You can also get him a Flybar - a pocket-sized EDC tool that's great at opening boxes and, well, prying things open. It's a tiny, affordable, practical, and sleek gift that only costs $15.

If you know what kind of knife your dad has – say a Bugout or Paramilitary 2 – you can get him a nice new set of scales. Check out our blogs on handle materials and see which option resonates best. Go back to the classics with brass or copper to give him a timeless old-fashioned feel. Perhaps a lightweight Micarta that will beautifully patina over time. Titanium handles can transform any knife into an object meant to last a lifetime. Choose between flat and contoured styles to add extra dimension to the knife. Prices vary for scales - most are under $100.

Take it one step further and personalize titanium handles with the Flytanium Modifly service. Choose your dad’s favorite color from our solid color finishes or add some faux wear-and-tear with the planetary dual-color option. Make it a statement piece with the Flavor of the Month or our specialty finishes. Anodizing can be the perfect way to add a subtle (or loud) personal touch. The Modifly service will run you an additional $15-$90 depending on the complexity of the finish, and is only available on titanium handles.

    $200+ range

Another way to add a personal touch to your gift is through engraving – our brand-new service. You can choose the font and text you’d like to add to a blade handle. A simple note can go a long way. This service is currently launching with the Arcade® and will expand to all bladed knives Flytanium offers. Knives start at $199.

If a full knife isn’t your dad’s speed, consider adding a pocket tool like the Victorinox Cadet. These are a great addition to any keyring for a dad on the go. It features a blade, 2 screwdrivers, can-openers, and more all in a convenient package. These are all pre-built models, so there’s no extra hassle of ordering and assembling. Plus, there’s lots of different finishes available, from titanium to carbon fiber. These range from $99-$225.

Here’s some extra incentive to splurge on dad – all orders over $100 will receive a free Glow Rhino “The Spark” Tritium Keychain. Light up his life (and his belongings) with a light source that doesn’t need to be recharged!

I hope this guide helped you as much as it helped me. I ended up getting my dad an engraved Arcade®. He's not a flashy guy and a subtle but sweet gift was the perfect option for me. I'll let my siblings get him a knife kit to maintain his tools and his new knife, a win-win situation.
