Who Designed That?
Howdy, I’m Ben! I moved to Utah four-ish years ago to work for Flytanium as the Product Design Lead. So far, I've worked on a bunch of design projects ranging from aftermarket parts to full knives to accessories. The BEEF has been one of the most fun projects I've worked on! And the Folio above, I also designed that.
Here are some things that fill my cup outside of designing knives and EDC gadgets:
🏃♂️ Hiking & Running – I love being outdoors, so most of my weekends are spent exploring our local mountains or going on long runs.
🌪️ Cheering on the Cyclones – I became a huge Iowa State sports fan growing up in Iowa, and that fandom only grew more once I enrolled in school there. Excited to see how the ‘clones do in March Madness this year.
✈️ Traveling – I love being able to get out of town to see something new! My girlfriend and I just went on a trip to Texas to visit Big Bend National Park, which was super cool!
👨🍳 Cooking – I love to eat good food and to do that one must learn to cook, or they'll spend all their money eating out.... I chose the former.
All of that gets my creative juices flowing so I can keep designing cool stuff. I have a ton of new projects in the works, and I can't wait to share them. Stay tuned to our emails, socials, and website for updates on our upcoming releases.
