We Make Fixed Blades
We wanted a camp knife that's small enough to throw in your pack and big enough to handle all of the tasks around a campsite, overlanding, bushcraft, and even cooking a meal on a campfire you built yourself.

Campfire Stories
Brian, Head of Product at Flytanium, came up with the idea for this fixed blade back in early 2022 when Arcform was still kicking. It was one of his last designs under the Arcform rain fly.
While timing wasn't quite right back then, Brian kept whittling with the idea until the stars aligned this year. And we couldn't stop ourselves from adding Bonfire to our MEGA DROP this November.
Bonfire was born out of the need to be outside, equipped with all the right tools.
Brian said: "Living in Utah, there is so much fantastic public land to camp on. I've built out the back of both a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and now a 2003 Toyota 4Runner to get myself and my dogs out into the wild."
Brian also explained fixed blades are very enjoyable things to sketch and there's so much you can do in the details.
A lot of time was put into getting the right in-hand feel and polished ergonomics for the Bonfire. The goal was to keep a very clean silhouette while having great contouring. The skeletalizing on the tang was really important for a knife that balances perfectly in hand.
When sourcing the materials, Brian looked for long lasting and low maintenance, that also allowed for patina (for the wear-with-love-enthusiasts out there). The MagnaCut blade paired with titanium hardware gives excellent corrosion resistance, and the un-oiled micarta scales age gracefully with use.

Now let's get to know the original Bonfire.
Brian didn't need to look far for the story of this knife. "10 years ago, I adopted an ex-racing greyhound named Bonfire Euphoria. He raced four times and then decided to rebel and didn't even leave the gate for his next two races. I think he always knew that a better life was waiting out there, full of hikes, lake dips, and couches."
Bonfire quickly adapted to Brian's hobbies and happily became the perfect companion.
"When he was four years old, Bonfire developed progressive retinal atrophy and it didn't damper his spirits one bit. This now 11.5 year old, completely blind greyhound can still crush 8 miles with a couple thousand feet of elevation on any given weekend. While designing a reliable, enduring, adventure-companion of a camp knife, it wasn't a stretch to immortalize it to my best friend."
What started as a personal need and passion project is becoming a reality. "I really appreciate that Flytanium can be an outlet for the things that we as a team want to bring into the world."
