A tiny bit. We set out to make a mini version of our iconic BEEF knife.

But we couldn't just take the BEEF, shrink it, and call it "Mini" or "Baby". That would leave us with a poor in-hand feel and performance.

And saying, "this is the small version of the BEEF," doesn't do much for storytelling.

At Flytanium, developing stories is crucial for every product we design and it's usually where we start. So instead of just making a smaller BEEF, we gave the Pork Chop a new personality that's built from the same DNA.

Let's talk about the pork-ified features:

• Pronounced Potbelly:
  • Better grip on a smaller knife.
• Rounded Behind:
  • Feels nice in your palm.
• Stubby Snout:
  • Shorter sheepsfoot blade.
• Double Chin:
  • Big finger choil area.

We began working on the Pork Chop in February 2026, and because we were able to "piggyback" off of the imagery and ideas from the BEEF, the overall design process went very smoothly.

We finalized the design this past May and put it into production just a couple months ago in July.

The Pork Chop was always going to be smaller and unique in its own ways, but we made sure to keep the things people love about the BEEF by using similar materials and ideas.

Aside from the Pork Chop's smaller size, you'll also get:
