At Flytanium, we're passionate about customization. We love kitting our our EDCs with new finishes, colorways, add-ons, and art — and we know you do too.
For us, we've found that this passion seeps into everything we do. Remember our Koolickle taste test a few months ago? That comes from the constant desire to make the world ours.
Well, we're back with another in-office challenge... created by our very own Account Executive, Meg.
A couple weeks ago, Meg told us about her obsession with Jell-O salad... one she's had since she was a child. You may have heard of this, but Meg's family puts cottage cheese in and calls it "Goop." Yes, cottage cheese.
Meg dared us to try it and, at first, we were not excited — but we came around, sort of. At least it doesn't have carrots or peas in the mix. Vegetables in gelatin is a Thanksgiving dinner side dish only.
Quick deets on the recipe for Meg's latest invention:

Some cottage cheese for protein.

A can of Mandarin oranges for your health.

A little Reddi-Wip to balance out the cottage cheese texture.

And a sprinkle of orange Jell-O powder, just because.

Sometimes a weird or new idea can win the hearts of a skeptical group. That's how amazing things happen. We're all about weird ideas, and we're excited to keep building new things because of them.

Our Resident Extrovert
Hi! I’m Meg. Nope, this isn't short for Megan, Megara, or Megalodon. Just Meg.
Last fall, Flytanium recruited me to be the sole extrovert in an office full of introverts. I’m in charge of working with dealers, so if you have a local knife store that you think should carry Flytanium, I’m the one to tell!
I have a hard time sticking to one hobby for very long, but here are some things I like that have stuck around:

Creating art — particularly making sculptures that feature strange materials like concrete, toys, and tools. 👩🎨

Teaching yoga — I LOVE all kinds of yoga, but I’m especially passionate about teaching beginners. 🧘

Lifting weights — I love getting a new lifting PR! 💪

Competing in triathlons — I’ve done seven so far! I love swimming and biking, but I’m still learning to love running. 🏊🚴🏃

Being obsessed with my cats — My cats are Kakashi and Maisy, and they're my favorite creatures. 🐈
And thanks to Flytanium, I’m starting a new hobby: Collecting knives!
