Add a pop of color and style with the aluminum ball cage from Flytanium! These ball cage locks are CNC milled from solid aircraft aluminum and then color anodized with a durable, protective finish. Not compatible with Lightweight model or Cru-Carta C101MPCW2 model.
The ball cage lock will fit both the Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL (but not the lightweight* models as they do not have liners). This handy piece weighs in at just 0.05 oz.
Each knife is slightly different, and there is a break-in period when you install your new ball cage lock. Spend an afternoon playing with your knife, enjoying your new lock, and you’ll be good to go!
*While some users have been able to use our Manix 2 aftermarket parts with these models, we're unable to recommend it. We can't guarantee that they will be compatible due to differences in the knife's internal structure which can lead to lock stick and other fit issues. Installation of the ball cage lock requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot and lanyard tube can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions or email us.
