Classic Scales - Brass - Spyderco Para 3

These precision milled scales are a perfect fit to replace the standard G10 scales. The backs have been milled out to receive the nested liners. Includes pocket clip holes for tip-up, right hand carry. We finished these with a unique antique stonewash finish, and no two scales are exactly the same. With the custom brass scales installed, the knife weighs in about 5.68 oz, giving the Para 3 some real heft. These scales will develop their own unique patina with time and use, make it your own. *Knife not included. Uses hardware from stock knife. Not compatible with lightweight models.

*Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality torx bit set to remove the screws and pivots. The pivot can be tough to remove. There are some good informational videos on YouTube if you need more instructions or email us.

Disclaimer: There are many small parts and pieces on the Para3. It is NOT easy to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk.

Care: To restore brass to its original finish apply a mild acidic cleanser, (we recommend Bar Keeper's Friend), with a microfiber cloth in a buffing motion. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a microfiber cloth. If you want to keep your patina, apply a gentle all purpose cleaner, (we recommend Simple Green), then remove excess with a microfiber cloth. For stubborn spots use a light amount of soapy water applied with a microfiber cloth and wipe dry.

Avoid: Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners.
