We've Got Buns in the Oven

12 Years Already? Reading We've Got Buns in the Oven 3 minutes Next You're Gonna Flip

Last week, we discussed where Flytanium started. Let's take a minute to share where we're going — specifically what we're working on this year.

As a team, our brains are so focused on how we can build upon our current products and make them even cooler. That might manifest as new features or added finishes and artwork. Keep that in mind because this year, we're releasing new knife variants of our original pocket knives as well as multiple exclusives.

Be on the lookout for:

  • A brand-new Theory and Concourse
  • Fun cow-themed and racing-themed BEEF™ colorways
  • A shiny new balisong
  • And many more knives and tools we're working on

Some of these will only be available at Blade Show Atlanta in June, so stop by Booth 251 to get yours! You'll also get access to some of our new knives on our site.

We're like grandma during the holidays, ready to sling out loads of gifts.

This has been a huge team effort, from ideation and design to manufacturing, from quality control to customer service and marketing efforts — all to get our products on your doorsteps.

Leading the way is our Head of Product, Brian. He would never brag, so we'll do it for him. He is a fantastic leader who cares about everyone on the team, always pushes for excellence in our work, and does it all with empathy and grace.

Brian - Head of Product at Flytanium

Flytanium Runs on Brian

Howdy, I'm Brian! I've been with Flytanium for almost six years, and I'm currently serving as Head of Product — everything product development, marketing, brand financials, and ecommerce are all in my domain.

Outside of work, you can find me climbing, skiing, overlanding, cooking, and hiking with my two dogs, Bonfire Euphoria (a geriatric, blind, retired racing greyhound), and Josie (a pointer mix who loves every human and wants to live in their skin).

I’ve always got a side project going on that I’m usually way out of my comfort zone with. Right now, that’s completely renovating a 1973 Scamp fiberglass travel trailer from the ground up.

I’ve always been a generalist more than a specialist, and I’ll jump at any excuse to pick up a new skill.

That’s always benefited me at Flytanium where we’re all asked to go beyond our job descriptions and figure out how to make a variety of different things work.

I'm stoked for the year ahead, as we continue bringing our current products your way while releasing plenty of new stuff too.
